About this role

MORSE Corp seeks experienced C++ Software Engineers to develop cutting-edge applications and embedded systems for Department of Defense customers. You'll design scalable software, interface with hardware components, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in a small, employee-owned company with locations in Cambridge, Arlington, and Seattle.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop scalable C++ and Python applications with emphasis on reliability and performance
  • Interface with hardware including boards, sensors, cameras, GPS receivers, radios, and microcontrollers
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming sessions
  • Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to deliver high-quality integrated software products
  • Contribute to new codebases emphasizing object-orientation, modularity, and maintainability
  • Stay current with software engineering trends, tools, and emerging technologies
