About this role
AGE Solutions seeks a Network Engineer to provide operational and engineering support for U.S. Army enterprise and tactical network infrastructures. The role involves managing Cisco, Juniper, and integrated security platforms while ensuring network availability, security compliance, and mission readiness across classified and unclassified systems.
What you'll do
- Analyze network performance and recommend capacity, scalability, and optimization improvements
- Support daily network operations including maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and lifecycle replacements
- Design, implement, and validate network configurations for routers, switches, firewalls, and automation frameworks
- Monitor network availability, reliability, and system health while resolving incidents and outages
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures including firewall policies, access controls, and vulnerability remediation
- Develop technical documentation, SOPs, network diagrams, and maintain compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies
