Security Engineer
About this role
AlertMedia seeks a hands-on Security Engineer to design and implement security controls across their cloud platform and applications. You'll balance cloud security, application security, compliance, and customer-facing work while translating security requirements into practical technical solutions.
What you'll do
- Partner with Engineering to design and improve security controls across software, application architecture, and AWS infrastructure
- Strengthen security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows
- Support SOC 2 and ISO compliance audit efforts
- Lead technical portions of enterprise customer security reviews and architecture discussions
- Advise Sales and Legal teams on customer security requirements and solutions
