About this role

AlertMedia seeks a hands-on Security Engineer to design and implement security controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD pipelines. You'll balance cloud security, application hardening, compliance (SOC 2, ISO), and customer-facing technical reviews while supporting a rapidly growing risk intelligence platform.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement security controls across AWS infrastructure, application architecture, and software systems
  • Strengthen security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities
  • Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
  • Support SOC 2 and ISO compliance audit efforts
  • Lead technical portions of enterprise customer security reviews and architecture discussions
  • Advise Sales and Legal teams on customer security requirements
