About this role
Allen Control Systems seeks a mid-to-senior Software Engineer to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build systems, deployment tooling, and simulation infrastructure for autonomous defense platforms. You'll own the engineering infrastructure that enables the team to develop, test, and deploy flight software reliably to fielded aircraft.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including automated testing, code coverage, and build checks
- Own CMake-based build systems and on-vehicle software deployment tooling for reliable packaging and versioning
- Build and extend software-in-the-loop simulation infrastructure for remote validation of flight software
- Manage flight log upload, storage, and retrieval pipelines using AWS or equivalent cloud services
- Ensure reliable capture, organization, and accessibility of telemetry data from fielded aircraft
- Support the engineering team independently in a fast-moving, evolving environment

- C++ proficiency with ability to read and contribute to production codebases

- Software deployment and integration in embedded/constrained environments
- AWS or cloud infrastructure (data storage, logging, compute)
- Software-in-the-loop or hardware-in-the-loop simulation
- Autonomous systems or robotics background
