About this role
Allen Control Systems seeks a Technical Operations Engineer to serve as an on-site expert supporting autonomous defense systems at domestic and international events. You'll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in the field while collaborating with the engineering team to ensure mission readiness.
What you'll do
- Provide on-site technical support for ACS autonomous systems at domestic and international operations
- Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, and software components with minimal support
- Troubleshoot networking problems for both hardline and mesh network environments
- Perform Linux-based system tasks including log analysis and configuration updates via CLI
- Collaborate with engineering team to identify root causes and implement solutions
- Ensure system mission readiness and provide direct technical guidance to operators
