About this role

Alloy seeks a People Operations Engineer to architect and modernize their HR technology infrastructure. You'll own the end-to-end People tech stack, implement AI-native automation, lead system migrations, and build data pipelines connecting workforce systems to business intelligence—serving as the technical backbone enabling the People function to operate with data-driven agility.

What you'll do

  • Design and maintain the architecture of Alloy's People tech stack including Rippling, Ashby, and adjacent tools with clean data flows and single sources of truth
  • Evaluate, pilot, and implement AI-native and agentic tooling to automate onboarding, offboarding, org changes, and compensation cycles
  • Lead the replacement of legacy People systems and independently drive build-versus-buy decisions
  • Build integrations and data pipelines connecting People systems to business intelligence and revenue systems for workforce-to-outcome analysis
  • Design and maintain self-service reporting dashboards for workforce planning, hiring health, retention, performance, and org design
  • Establish data governance including access controls, audit trails, quality standards, and data lineage across all People systems
