ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Aerospace Engineer to provide hands-on manufacturing support in a production environment, focusing on resolving quality and production issues while driving process improvements. The role requires direct collaboration with manufacturing teams and demands expertise in aerospace production, documentation management, and cross-functional problem-solving.
What you'll do
- Address production and quality issues on the shop floor in collaboration with manufacturing operations teams
- Investigate and disposition nonconforming materials through rework, repair, scrap, and concession activities
- Maintain and update production and quality records in SAP and other enterprise systems
- Review and improve manufacturing work instructions, process documentation, and verification procedures
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action implementation to enhance manufacturing performance
- Serve as technical resource interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly requirements for production personnel
