ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Automotive Cockpit Validation Engineer with 5-9 years of automotive experience to validate infotainment, instrument cluster, and connected vehicle systems at vehicle and bench levels. The role involves hands-on testing of cockpit features, diagnostic tool expertise, and collaboration with global cross-functional teams on advanced automotive platforms.

What you'll do

  • Validate cockpit systems including infotainment, instrument cluster, and connected vehicle features at vehicle and bench levels
  • Test infotainment components such as radio, media sources, Bluetooth, navigation, and OTA connectivity features
  • Validate cluster functionality including gauges, warning indicators, trip computer, and ADAS-related alerts
  • Perform diagnostic activities including ECU flashing, CAN signal analysis, DTC evaluation, and fault isolation
  • Conduct log collection, trace analysis, root cause analysis, and defect reporting with defect tracking
  • Configure vehicle ECUs, manage proxy settings, and support variant coding and feature configuration
