About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an experienced Sr. Exterior Trim Engineer to design and develop exterior vehicle components, balancing styling and functionality. This onsite Newark, CA position involves leading the packaging, engineering, and launch of cutting-edge exterior systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced automotive environment.

What you'll do

• Lead or drive packaging, engineering design, release, and launch of exterior vehicle components
• Design exterior systems with focus on quality, reliability, functionality, mass, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional studio and vehicle engineering teams on integrated solutions
• Develop and employ advanced engineering tools and innovative approaches for systems development
• Work on components including trim, mechanisms, glazing, mirrors, and aero features
