About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Design Release Engineer for electrical accessories to lead the development and integration of electrical accessory connection points in automotive applications. You'll collaborate across hardware, systems, and software teams to create robust, cost-effective designs while managing requirements, CAD modeling, and cross-functional coordination.

What you'll do

  • Define and manage requirements for electrical accessories including wiring harnesses, control modules, and lighting components
  • Develop CAD designs ensuring compatibility with vehicle electrical and software systems
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams on accessory integration
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and purchasing teams to support production and resolve issues
  • Apply LEAN Engineering methodologies throughout the development process
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulatory requirements
