Electric Vehicle Calibration Engineer
About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Electric Vehicle Calibration Engineer to develop and validate powertrain control strategies for EV programs. You'll own calibration features from concept through production, collaborate across engineering teams, and use industry-standard tools to optimize vehicle performance and system integration.
What you'll do
- Perform electric powertrain calibration and validation at vehicle and component levels through production readiness
- Own delivery of specific calibration features with on-time, high-quality releases
- Supervise CAN/LIN communication implementation and flash control units with latest software
- Analyze test results against design requirements and propose calibration improvements
- Debug embedded EVCU software models and Simulink control strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with controls teams, suppliers, and chief engineers; resolve technical issues
