About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Electrical Engineer for a 3-month project in Broomfield, Colorado to design schematics, PCBs, battery systems, and motor drive circuits for consumer products. You'll work across the full development lifecycle using Altium, collaborating with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

What you'll do

  • Design and layout schematics and PCBs for battery-powered products with BLE, Wi-Fi, and RF capabilities
  • Develop battery management systems and evaluate rechargeable battery chemistries for safety and performance
  • Design DC motor drive circuitry for motion control applications
  • Manage Altium workflows including schematic entry, library/component management, and production data packs
  • Partner with PCB suppliers and manufacturing technicians to prototype, debug, and resolve hardware issues
  • Support product development from concept through EVT/DVT, certification, and sustaining engineering
