About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and integrate Qualcomm SoC-based board support packages for automotive applications, with responsibility for hardware bring-up, device driver development, and embedded system integration.
What you'll do
- Design and develop board support packages (BSP) for Qualcomm SoCs in automotive environments
- Perform hardware bring-up and validation using lab instruments and debugging tools
- Develop and optimize device drivers and peripheral interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C)
- Integrate embedded operating systems (Linux, FreeRTOS, RTOS) with SOC architectures
- Debug hardware and software issues using JTAG, GDB, and oscilloscopes
- Collaborate with hardware teams and cross-functional stakeholders on system integration
