About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Embedded Systems Security Engineer to design and implement comprehensive security solutions for next-generation embedded Linux platforms. You'll architect hardware root of trust, secure boot mechanisms, trusted execution environments, and production provisioning workflows while automating security pipelines across CI/CD infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement Hardware Root of Trust and Secure Boot architecture from bootloader through Linux kernel
  • Implement dm-verity for cryptographically verified filesystems and secure data encryption at rest
  • Develop, integrate, and maintain Trusted Execution Environments (e.g., OP-TEE) and Secure Applications
  • Enforce user-space isolation and sandboxing using SELinux, AppArmor, cgroups, namespaces, and seccomp
  • Build automated cryptographic signing pipelines in CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) using HSMs or secure vaults
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams on secure hardware configuration, eFuse programming, and end-of-line testing
