About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Rear Wheel Drive Axle and System Design Engineer to lead component and system engineering for RWD architectures and driveline integration. You'll design axle systems from concept through production, managing CAD development, packaging studies, and cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and customers.

What you'll do

  • Define component and system engineering requirements for axle and driveline systems
  • Create CAD models, engineering drawings, and design releases using CATIA
  • Perform packaging, tolerance, and feasibility studies for axle layouts
  • Support CAE analysis, prototype builds, testing, and validation activities
  • Resolve design, manufacturing, quality, and launch issues across the product lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers on system integration
