About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Triage Engineer to investigate and diagnose software and hardware issues in vehicle infotainment systems across development, validation, and production phases. This role analyzes defects across QNX, Android-based platforms, connectivity, CAN communications, and cloud services to identify root causes and drive resolution.

What you'll do

  • Analyze and prioritize infotainment issues from validation teams, suppliers, manufacturing, and customers
  • Perform root cause investigation and reproduce issues in bench and vehicle environments
  • Review logs, traces, system dumps, and diagnostic data to isolate software, hardware, or network failures
  • Support diagnostic activities using OEM tools and analyze DTCs, CAN logs, Android logcat, and QNX system logs
  • Coordinate with software development, system architects, integration, and validation teams on issue resolution
  • Develop troubleshooting guides and improve triage procedures for quality and reliability
