About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an experienced Zonal Routing Engineer to design electrical distribution systems for the rear zone of vehicles. You'll define architectures, create CAD models, and coordinate interfaces across autonomy, power electronics, and body systems in a fast-paced automotive engineering environment.

What you'll do

  • Define component and system engineering requirements for zonal electrical architectures
  • Create CAD models, routing designs, and engineering documentation using CATIA platforms
  • Perform packaging, tolerance, and feasibility studies for electrical power and data systems
  • Coordinate interfaces between autonomy hardware, power electronics, closures, and body systems
  • Support CAE analysis, prototype builds, testing, and validation activities
  • Resolve design, manufacturing, quality, and launch issues through root cause analysis
