About this role

Ambrook seeks a Design Systems Engineer to build and maintain the component library and frontend infrastructure powering their financial tools for agricultural businesses. You'll own the design system from components to architecture, drive adoption across the product, and leverage AI-assisted development to accelerate migrations and team productivity.

What you'll do

  • Build and evolve the component library, interaction patterns, and design tokens as production frontend infrastructure
  • Drive design system adoption into the product, managing breaking changes and deprecations across teams
  • Own frontend performance metrics including bundle size, render performance, and accessibility as measurable features
  • Write codemods, migration scripts, and agentic workflows to accelerate team adoption without compromising quality
  • Establish tooling and guardrails to prevent performance and accessibility regressions
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to keep the system aligned with product needs as the company scales
