About this role
Ambrook seeks a Design Systems Engineer to build and maintain the component library and frontend infrastructure powering their financial platform for agricultural and family-run businesses. You'll own everything from component architecture to performance optimization, leveraging AI coding agents to accelerate adoption and migrations across the product.
What you'll do
- Build and evolve the component library, design tokens, and interaction patterns for web and mobile
- Drive design system adoption across the product through migrations and team enablement
- Own frontend performance, bundle size, render efficiency, and accessibility as core features
- Write codemods, migration scripts, and agentic workflows to accelerate team velocity
- Maintain production frontend infrastructure and establish guardrails against regressions
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to keep the system healthy as the product scales
