About this role
Ambrook, a Series B fintech startup for American farmers, is seeking a software engineering co-op student to build real product features for their modern accounting and financial platform. You'll work full-time in NYC from January–June 2027, gaining hands-on experience with AI-native tools, full-stack development, and agricultural finance while contributing to sustainable farming solutions.
What you'll do
- Build and ship product features that farmers actively use while working alongside experienced engineers
- Own a project end-to-end from technical design through implementation and deployment
- Contribute to code reviews, engineering meetings, and identify opportunities to improve development processes
- Collaborate with Product team to influence feature prioritization based on customer insights
- Learn and apply Ambrook's tech stack to deliver standalone features within the first few weeks
- Develop domain expertise in farm finance and agricultural operations through hands-on project work
