Applied AI Engineer (Pre-Sale)

Join Amigo as an Applied AI Engineer to build rapid prototypes and live demos that showcase frontier AI capabilities to healthcare prospects. You'll be the experimentation engine bridging research, product, and sales—turning clinical workflow problems into working agents fast enough to influence deal conversations.

What you'll do

• Build rapid POCs, live demos, and experimental agents demonstrating AI capabilities in clinical workflows
• Partner with account executives on technical discovery to scope feasibility and shape deal architecture
• Run experiments with new models and techniques, converting successful ones into reusable GTM plays
• Deliver live technical demonstrations that solve prospect objections with working prototypes
• Prototype in new clinical domains ahead of the product roadmap to unlock new markets
• Build demo infrastructure, sandboxes, and reference architectures to accelerate future deals

• Rapid prototyping and iterative development
• LLMs and AI agents (or quick learning aptitude)
• Python development
• Building on external APIs and fast-moving tools
• Technical presentation and communication
• Healthcare domain knowledge or regulated systems experience
• Systems thinking and problem decomposition
• Sales engineering or forward-deployed engineering experience
