About this role

Fluidstack is seeking an Electrical Engineer to deploy and commission large-scale electrical power systems for AI data center infrastructure. You'll oversee equipment testing, protective relay verification, and system handover to operations while building repeatable deployment playbooks across multiple high-capacity sites.

What you'll do

  • Deploy and commission electrical power systems including switchgear, transformers, generators, and UPS equipment at data center sites
  • Conduct protective relay verification, generator load testing, and acceptance documentation through live handover
  • Support operational reliability by responding to power events and equipment failures on live sites
  • Resolve field conflicts between installation conditions and electrical system requirements with escalation and proposed solutions
  • Validate protective relay settings, UPS performance, and generator transfer sequencing against operational requirements
  • Develop electrical commissioning checklists, energization procedures, and reliability run books for future deployments
