Software Engineer
About this role
AnaVation seeks a Software Engineer to develop and maintain complex software systems ranging from analytics platforms to real-time applications. You'll work individually or collaboratively to design, test, and enhance software components while providing technical input on system architecture and integration strategies.
What you'll do
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software systems including analytics, algorithms, and large-scale data processing applications
- Design and implement software components with attention to hardware/software tradeoffs and commercial/government off-the-shelf (COTS/GOTS) integration
- Review and test software components against design requirements and document test findings
- Resolve software defects and problem reports through debugging and root cause analysis
- Apply appropriate software development and design methodologies based on project requirements
- Contribute to system design decisions and requirements analysis from system level to component level
