Anduril Industries
Algorithm Developer, Battlespace Awareness
About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Algorithm Developer to design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile defense systems. You'll develop high-performance, real-time software that processes radar data to detect and track multiple simultaneous threats, working with small teams to deploy production-grade systems for military customers.
What you'll do
- Design and implement multi-target tracking algorithms including track fusion and discrimination techniques
- Develop high-performance, real-time software systems to process radar sensor data and maintain tracks on dozens to hundreds of targets
- Build modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements
- Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into defense systems
- Optimize tracking software for performance-critical, millisecond-sensitive environments
- Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams and customers; support field demonstrations
What they're looking for
- C++ and Python programming
- Linear algebra, probability, statistics, and differential equations
- Multi-target tracking and sensor fusion algorithms
- Real-time software systems design
- Signal processing and radar data interpretation
- Software engineering fundamentals (design patterns, testing, version control, debugging)
- Performance optimization and profiling
- Mathematical modeling and simulation
