Anduril Industries
Algorithm Engineer, Battlespace Awareness
About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Algorithm Engineer to design and implement advanced multi-target tracking algorithms for radar-based air and missile defense systems. You'll develop real-time, high-performance software that processes massive sensor data streams to detect and track airborne threats, collaborating with radar engineers to integrate solutions into production defense systems.
What you'll do
- Design and implement multi-target tracking and track fusion algorithms for airborne threat detection
- Develop real-time software systems optimized for millisecond-latency radar sensor data processing
- Build modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements
- Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects on end-to-end system integration
- Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments
- Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests for deployment validation
What they're looking for
- C++ and Python programming
- Multi-target tracking algorithms
- Linear algebra, probability, and statistics
- Signal processing and sensor fusion
- Real-time software systems design
- Software engineering fundamentals (design patterns, testing, version control)
- Mathematical modeling and simulation
- Performance optimization
