About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Aviation Maintenance Engineer to ensure airworthiness and mission readiness of developmental unmanned aircraft systems. You'll perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and assembly work on advanced autonomous platforms while collaborating with engineers and test pilots in a fast-paced defense technology environment.
What you'll do
- Conduct aircraft assembly, preventative maintenance, and mechanical integration including flight control surfaces and propulsion systems
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft subsystems such as landing gear, fuel systems, flight control, and engines
- Perform airframe construction techniques and composite fabrication work
- Validate and test electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers
- Maintain accurate aircraft and equipment documentation for regulatory compliance
- Communicate mechanical assessments to engineering and production teams

- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
- Rotorcraft maintenance and repair (8+ years)
