About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Chief Engineer to serve as the technical authority for critical defense imaging programs, driving strategy from concept through production. You'll lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, translate customer needs into innovative solutions, and champion the company's imaging and sensor technology roadmap.

What you'll do

  • Define system architectures and CONOPS that address mission gaps and customer requirements
  • Oversee end-to-end engineering execution across hardware, software, and production teams while managing cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Lead New Product Introduction activities, coordinate EMD efforts, and ensure manufacturing readiness
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, arbitrate trade-offs across engineering disciplines, and make top-level technical decisions
  • Serve as technical evangelist, communicating complex imaging and sensor technology to customers, partners, and internal leadership
  • Support production and field issue resolution while driving new business integrations
