About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Chief Engineer to architect and lead a vehicle-to-mission interface layer that transforms military vehicles into software-defined systems. You'll oversee the design and production of hardware and software components that enable plug-and-play mission kits while maintaining vehicle safety and integrity.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end architecture of vehicle-to-mission interface layer abstracting power, data, networking, and control
- Design compute modules, firmware layers, and software interfaces for mission kit integration
- Define standardized APIs, data models, and ICDs for reusable mission services
- Lead cross-functional hardware and software teams from concept through production
- Partner with OEMs, mission partners, and customers to drive platform adoption
- Serve as primary engineering contact for external and internal stakeholders
