About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Drone Mission Solutions Engineer to lead the rapid development, testing, and deployment of small autonomous aerial systems. You'll bridge software and hardware engineering, conduct operational testing, and solve critical problems for military customers through hands-on prototyping and field validation.
What you'll do
- Lead technical execution of drone products from design through prototype testing and validation
- Develop and operate surrogate aircraft to accelerate algorithm testing in live flight conditions
- Conduct rapid prototyping, root cause analysis, and creative testing in representative battlefield environments
- Execute system-level testing, troubleshoot deployed systems remotely, and support field operations
- Plan flight missions, prepare mission cards, and coordinate with engineering and program teams
- Design systems supporting expeditionary operations, intuitive warfighter use, and modular sensor expansion
