Anduril Industries
Electrical Engineer, Production Test (Intelligence Systems)
About this role
Design and develop test automation systems and PCBA platforms for high-volume defense products at Anduril Industries. This role involves creating complex circuits, data acquisition boards, and test fixtures using FPGA and MCU technologies while collaborating with firmware engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure rigorous quality standards.
What you'll do
- Design circuits and schematics for test automation platforms and integrate into PDM systems
- Design and source PCB assemblies ranging from FPGA-based data acquisition boards to MCU interfaces and harnesses
- Architect circuit board test fixtures and integrate with internal and commercial data acquisition equipment
- Bring up, debug, and characterize circuits including low-speed interfaces (I2C, SPI, CAN) and high-speed signals (RF, memory, USB)
- Develop and maintain internal library of test circuits with focus on DFM/DFT principles
- Collaborate with firmware engineers on board support packages for embedded Linux and MCU RTOS platforms
What they're looking for
- PCBA design and fabrication
- Schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium, Cadence, or similar)
- Electronics test equipment operation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, function generators)
- FPGA design and RTL coding
- Low-speed and high-speed interface protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN, RF, USB)
- Python scripting for automation
- PLM/PDM system management
- Circuit debugging and characterization
