About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an Electrical System Test Engineer to design and manage EMC test systems for defense technology products. You'll own test readiness end-to-end, collaborating across avionics, software, and systems teams to support development, qualification, and field operations in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

  • Own EMC test readiness from design translation through test configuration and schedule management
  • Design cable harnesses, breakout interfaces, and test hardware setups using NX CAD
  • Collaborate with software and firmware teams on test modes, stimulation, and telemetry
  • Configure and verify device operating modes prior to and during EMC testing
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test setup and configuration documentation
  • Conduct root cause analysis to support vehicle integration and field operations

  • NX CAD (3D modeling and drafting)
  • Electrical harness design for aerospace/military applications
  • Electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
  • Schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad)
  • EMC/EMI testing and MIL-STD-461G test methods
  • Test equipment operation (spectrum analyzers, LISNs, current probes, signal generators)
  • Engineering documentation and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Cross-functional collaboration and project management
