About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Electrical Test Engineer to design and build complex test automation platforms and PCBA systems for defense intelligence applications. You'll create circuits, integrate designs into production workflows, and collaborate with firmware teams to validate products against rigorous standards.
What you'll do
- Design circuits and schematics for test automation platforms that validate Anduril's products
- Develop and source PCB assemblies ranging from FPGA-based data acquisition boards to MCU interfaces and harnesses
- Architect test fixtures and integrate custom designs with internal and commercial data acquisition equipment
- Debug and characterize circuits across low-speed (I2C, SPI, CAN) and high-speed (RF, USB, memory) interfaces
- Build reusable test circuit libraries and apply DFM/DFT expertise to improve manufacturability
- Manage design requirements and follow product lifecycle processes for component release and production
What they're looking for
- PCB schematic capture and layout (Altium, Cadence, or equivalent)
- PCBA design and manufacturing process integration
- Electronics test equipment operation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, function generators, data acquisition)
- FPGA and MCU platform design with embedded Linux and RTOS bring-up
- Low-speed and high-speed signal debugging and characterization
- Python scripting for test automation and configuration
- Product lifecycle management (PLM) systems
- Circuit design and electrical analysis
