About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to design and develop radar systems for defense applications. You'll own mechanical and thermal aspects of hardware from requirements through production, working across interdisciplinary teams to integrate complex RF, thermal, and electronic components under accelerated timelines.
What you'll do
- Lead mechanical and thermal design aspects of radar hardware from concept through full production
- Design integrated mechanical systems combining thermal solutions, RF hardware, PCBAs, and cabling
- Rapid prototyping to identify and resolve issues quickly on compressed schedules
- Support customer-facing hardware demonstrations and translate feedback into design requirements
- Create high-quality CAD models and engineering drawings meeting industry standards
- Travel to test sites as needed for validation and customer engagement

- Mechanical design (2+ years professional experience)
- CAD proficiency (any platform)
- Thermal management design (passive and active)
- PCBA and electronics integration
- Manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal, injection molding, 3D printing)
- EMI/RF constraint design
- Engineering first principles and root-cause analysis
- NX/Teamcenter (preferred)
