About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer to design precision mechanical fixtures and assemblies for PCBA and product-level test systems in a defense technology environment. You'll leverage CAD expertise, DFM/DFT knowledge, and hands-on manufacturing experience to develop complex electromechanical systems that support advanced military capabilities.
What you'll do
- Design mechanical assemblies and test fixtures using professional CAD tools with tight tolerances
- Develop pneumatic and manually actuated systems for manufacturing and product testing
- Collaborate with rapid fabrication teams and suppliers on material sourcing and fabrication
- Conduct FEA analysis and guide product design teams on design for manufacturing and testing
- Create thermal solutions including heatsinks for RF systems and PCBA designs
- Train technicians on equipment operation and maintain PLM system documentation

- Sheet metal design, 3D printing, and CNC machining

- GD&T application and interpretation

- FEA analysis tools
