About this role
Anduril Industries is seeking an Explosives Operations Engineer to manage safe development, testing, and deployment of explosive systems across multiple defense product lines. You'll execute hands-on explosives operations while ensuring compliance with DoD, ATF, DOT, and OSHA regulations, working across lab, test, and field environments.
What you'll do
- Execute explosives operations in lab, test, and field environments across multiple Anduril product lines
- Conduct range safety activities and support site laydowns, blast analysis, and quantity-distance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with DoD, ATF/ATFE, DOT, OSHA, and internal safety requirements for explosive operations
- Manage explosives storage including inventory, security, and inspections
- Train personnel on safe handling procedures and operational execution
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, legal, and program teams on explosives-related initiatives
