About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Firmware Engineer to develop low-level firmware for the Sentry Tower product line, working across land, sea, and air systems. You'll own embedded projects end-to-end, mentor teammates, and collaborate with electrical engineering to solve complex hardware-software integration challenges.
What you'll do
- Develop low-level firmware and device drivers for microcontrollers supporting multiple platforms
- Own design, implementation, and completion of embedded firmware projects from concept to deployment
- Debug and troubleshoot issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries
- Mentor junior firmware engineers and establish design best practices across the team
- Collaborate with electrical engineering on microcontroller selection and schematic review
- Manage multiple concurrent projects at various development stages

- Expert C coding for embedded systems
- Microcontroller architecture (ARM, AVR, MSP430, PIC)
- Bare-metal and RTOS firmware development
- Bus protocols (USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet)
- Debugging tools (JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)
- Sensor integration and analog/digital signal processing
- Board bring-up and system-level architecture
- STM32 microcontrollers (preferred)
