About this role
Anduril is seeking a Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer to design, install, and manage advanced instrumentation and RF telemetry systems for Group 5 unmanned aircraft validation. You'll work cross-functionally to solve complex data acquisition and analysis challenges while supporting high-stakes defense technology programs.
What you'll do
- Decompose requirements and select flight test instrumentation using digital tools; communicate analytical insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with discipline engineers, customers, and program management on safety, flight testing, and speed-to-market decisions
- Diagnose and resolve instrumentation and RF telemetry issues through technical investigation and data interpretation
- Design and implement analytics-driven dashboards for performance metrics, trends, and system visualization
- Design, fabricate, and install sensors, data acquisition systems, and equipment into experimental aircraft with novel approaches
- Perform calibrations, pre-flight checks, and provide GO/NO-GO flight test approvals; operate telemetry ground systems
