About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a GNC Engineer to develop guidance, navigation, and control systems for autonomous rotorcraft and VTOL platforms. You'll design and validate safety-critical algorithms and architectures across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on cutting-edge defense autonomy systems.

What you'll do

  • Develop, implement, and test GNC algorithms and architectures for air vehicle platforms
  • Design and assess complete GNC systems integrating vehicle dynamics, sensors, actuators, and control logic
  • Conduct simulation and analysis to verify models and performance across operating conditions
  • Collaborate with systems, flight software, autonomy, and test engineers on integration and performance
  • Participate in design reviews, safety assessments, and system documentation
  • Troubleshoot GNC-related issues during design, testing, and operational phases
