Laser Test Engineer

About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Laser/Camera Test Engineer to own production test operations for advanced defense systems, ensuring quality through rigorous testing, automation development, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll troubleshoot complex infrared systems, develop test procedures, and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing value stream.

What you'll do

• Maintain production test flow and troubleshoot infrared systems issues during testing
• Develop and maintain test automation software, data analytics, and report generation tools
• Create test work instructions and train technicians on equipment use in MES
• Perform root cause analysis on product failures and recommend corrective actions
• Analyze test data and collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams on improvements
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and optimize test strategies for efficiency without compromising quality
