About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource on the Imaging production floor, diagnosing and resolving assembly, integration, and test issues in real-time. You'll minimize downtime, drive root-cause analysis, manage production data systems, and collaborate directly with technicians to continuously improve yield and quality.
What you'll do
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve in-line production issues across assembly, integration, and test phases to minimize downtime
- Triage, manage, and close production downtime tickets by coordinating with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams
- Troubleshoot, test, and perform root-cause analysis on failing electromechanical and optomechanical hardware and processes
- Manage ERP and MES systems for accurate production tracking, inventory management, and data integrity
- Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, rework procedures, and implement engineering change orders on the floor
- Analyze line data to identify recurring failures and drive incremental improvements in yield, throughput, and first-pass quality
