About this role

Oklo seeks a Controls Engineer to design and implement instrumentation, controls, and data systems for advanced fuel fabrication facilities. You'll develop PLC/SCADA systems, manage SQL databases for process traceability, and support facility commissioning to meet nuclear regulatory standards.

What you'll do

  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, DCS, and HMI systems for manufacturing equipment
  • Select, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow, level transmitters)
  • Integrate machine-level data from Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs into facility-wide SCADA systems
  • Design and manage SQL databases to store process data and quality metrics with full traceability
  • Develop automated quality assurance logic and digital product reports for regulatory compliance
  • Execute Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) and validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ)
