About this role
Figure is seeking a hands-on Deployment Engineer to manage teleoperation systems for their humanoid robot data collection efforts. You'll troubleshoot technical issues at deployment sites, support robot commissioning, and bridge engineering and field operations—with significant travel across the country.
What you'll do
- Support on-site robot deployment and commissioning at customer locations
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in teleoperation systems and drive resolution across teams
- Provide technical coaching to teleoperations team and document learnings from field deployments
- Triage and analyze technical blockers, perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues
- Plan logistics for deploying early-stage robotic systems to homes and commercial sites
- Communicate site health, trends, and recurring issues to engineering and leadership
