About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to serve as the primary problem-solver on an imaging production floor, diagnosing and resolving assembly, integration, and test issues in real time. This hands-on, floor-embedded role focuses on minimizing downtime, managing production tickets, maintaining MES/ERP systems, and driving continuous improvement on electromechanical and optomechanical systems.
What you'll do
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve in-line production issues across assembly, integration, and test phases to minimize downtime
- Triage and close production downtime tickets, coordinating with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams
- Manage day-to-day ERP and MES administration to ensure accurate production tracking, data integrity, and inventory flow
- Perform root-cause analysis on failing hardware and processes, implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Create and maintain work instructions, SOPs, rework procedures, and manage ECO/ECN implementations on the floor
- Analyze line data to identify recurring failures and bottlenecks, driving improvements in yield, throughput, and first-pass quality
