About this role

Anduril is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for its Connected Warfare division at Arsenal-1, a new hyperscale facility in Ohio. You'll orchestrate the industrialization of advanced defense products from prototyping through high-volume production, working across design, supply chain, quality, and process optimization. The role includes a 3-month training program at Anduril's Costa Mesa headquarters before establishing manufacturing excellence in Ohio.

What you'll do

  • Oversee manufacturing scaling from initial prototyping through full-scale production of electromechanical defense products
  • Collaborate with design engineers to embed design-for-manufacturability principles and manage design-to-production transitions
  • Develop and own manufacturing documentation including MBOM, work instructions, and process flows
  • Lead supplier sourcing, vendor partnerships, and on-site production troubleshooting
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality, and production capacity
  • Define capacity planning and quality management strategies to meet customer needs at scale
