About this role
Anduril is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop and implement automated test procedures for advanced autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). You'll design high-fidelity testing systems at component and system levels, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure product reliability and quality in a fast-paced defense tech environment.
What you'll do
- Design and implement automated test procedures and equipment across the manufacturing value stream, from component-level validation to full system acceptance testing
- Develop and execute test strategies to de-risk hardware, validate reliability, and confirm alignment with design specifications
- Perform root cause analysis of electromechanical subsystems using structured problem-solving methodologies and data-driven approaches
- Create test instructions, error code libraries, and troubleshooting documentation for technician teams in manufacturing execution systems
- Collaborate with design and systems teams throughout product development to assess risks and oversee test deployment, technician training, and issue resolution
- Design and execute PCBA and electrical system component testing, including hands-on testing and rework as needed
