About this role
Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Marine Operations Engineer to support autonomous surface vessel (ASV) operations, field maintenance, and testing. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, global deployments, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to advance maritime autonomy technology.
What you'll do
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of autonomous surface vessels in field conditions
- Conduct pre-mission testing, vehicle tasking, data analysis, and day-to-day ASV platform operations
- Write, review, and execute test plans during at-sea testing campaigns
- Deploy globally to support underway ASV operations from support vessels approximately 50% of the time
- Author detailed operational reports and coordinate with third-party vendors and logistics partners
- Support software UI design and develop user documentation for ASV systems

- USCG Merchant Mariner Credential (First Assistant Engineer or higher)
