About this role

What you'll do

  • Design and prototype wearable multispectral sensor systems with thermal management and ballistic protection
  • Develop detailed mechanical designs for both traditional and additive manufacturing across metallic and composite materials
  • Conduct structural and thermal analyses to inform trade studies and concept validation
  • Ensure ergonomic fit and comfort for prolonged tactical wear while meeting strict size, weight, and power constraints
  • Produce high-quality CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings managing complex component interactions
  • Drive rapid prototyping and iterative design refinement with 3D-printed assets and testing
