About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an NPI Engineer to lead the manufacturing transition of propulsion systems, actuators, and electromechanical assemblies from prototype to high-rate production. You'll drive test development, process optimization, and quality control for mission-critical defense systems while collaborating across engineering, supply chain, and production teams.

What you'll do

  • Own transition of propulsion systems and assemblies from prototype to scalable, high-rate production
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and systems for mechanical, electromechanical, and propulsion subsystems
  • Design, document, and validate manufacturing and assembly processes with automation and tooling optimization
  • Lead first article manufacturing and testing to ensure specifications and performance requirements are met
  • Collaborate with design engineers on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) optimization for cost and manufacturability
  • Partner with quality engineering on inspection criteria, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for field failures
