About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Product Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply chain development and cost management for the Altius family of autonomous aerial systems. You'll collaborate across engineering, quality, and manufacturing to accelerate product development, manage new product introduction procurement, and optimize supply networks for rapid, reliable defense manufacturing.

What you'll do

  • Conduct supplier selection and partner with strategic suppliers on concept scoping, design trade-offs, and joint development activities
  • Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOMs working with Quality and Manufacturing teams to scale production with high flexibility
  • Manage new product introduction component procurement, CAPEX, and on-time delivery to support production ramp
  • Perform value-stream mapping and BOM risk assessments to optimize supply network lead time, flexibility, and component sourcing
  • Lead vendor component qualifications and cost engineering activities to meet production requirements and cost targets
  • Drive complexity reduction through commonality optimization and supplier rationalization across product lines
